Energy Apex

Step into the world of Energy Apex, a smooth investment game in which you choose cards and try to bend the market to your will. There is only one thing you have to do: take an investment card from one of the eight piles laid out in front of you. But that single choice decides everything. Will you team up with your opponents, or play everyone off against each other? The cards come in eight colours, and each colour stands for its own energy sector. As soon as a pile runs out, the round is over and the market board turns towards that sector. That is the exciting moment: only now do you see how much your investments are really worth. Influence the market together or quietly follow your own plan, anything goes. Energy Apex is a game for three to five players aged twelve and up and takes about forty minutes. Short enough for a quick game in between, exciting enough to have everyone calling for a second round right away. Who will end up riding the top of the waves and become the biggest investor at the table?
