Enduring Freedom: US Operations in Afghanistan, 2001-2002

Enduring Freedom takes you to Afghanistan in the months after the attacks of 11 September 2001. As the player, you are in command of the coalition forces: the United States, NATO and the Northern Alliance. The game itself controls your opponents, with Al Qaeda, the Taliban and the volunteers from Pakistan. That way you play this game entirely on your own. Your task is clear but hard. You have to take out Al Qaeda and at the same time create a stable Afghanistan, so that no new civil war breaks out later. Every decision counts. The period runs from October 2001, the start of the invasion, up to and including March 2002 and the end of Operation Anaconda. In the box you will find a large game map of 22 by 34 inches and 176 counters. A game for the fan of history and strategy, one that will have you thinking for hours about real choices in a difficult time.
