echoes: The Cursed Ring

An old ring, passed down from generation to generation, brings a young woman nothing but bad luck. Where does that curse come from? In echoes: The Cursed Ring you listen to the voices and sounds from the past and try to unravel the truth behind a centuries-old curse. A story that slowly opens up to you, sound by sound. This is a cooperative mystery game that you play together with a free app. You listen to mysterious voices, snatches of conversation and strange noises that belong to the game material. Together you search for clues in those sound clips. What exactly do you hear? And in what order do the pieces fall into place? By talking and listening, you uncover the whole story bit by bit. The story consists of 24 parts, spread over six chapters. Every object, whether it is a card or a game board, has its own echo that you can listen to with the app. Is your order correct? Then you hear a whole chapter in one go, sometimes with new hints hidden inside. Did you get it wrong? Then the app points out the mistake. Pay close attention to the objects themselves, because they hide clues too. For 1 to 4 players aged 14 and up, and done in about an hour.
