Delta

In Delta you face each other with eight triangles each on the board. The goal sounds simple, but it is not: you want to get two of your deltas into your opponent's coloured base space. And your opponent wants to do exactly the same to you. Each piece moves along its longest side, without jumping over other pieces. You can also tip a delta over an edge or over the corner opposite the longest side. Does one of your pieces form a square together with a piece of your opponent? Then you capture that piece. This creates a constant little battle for space and position, where every move counts. Delta is made for two players aged 12 and up, and it is all about sitting at the table together and trying to outsmart each other. No luck, no cards, just the two of you and the board. Perfect for an evening when you want to lose yourself completely in the game.
