A group of adventurers gathered on a submarine to try and collect the treasures lying on the sea floor.
Everyone was equipped with diving suits, but a very old submarine means you have to share the same oxygen tank.
If one of them dives too deep, the lives of the other divers are at stake! Will the adventurers make it safely back to the submarine?
In the game "Deep Sea Adventure" you use dice to dive deeper.
The deeper you dive, the better your chance of finding valuable treasures. But if you take too many with you, the oxygen in your shared tank runs out faster.
In the compact, blue box with its handsome design you will find 48 tiles, a submarine, colourful meeples and two dice with the numbers 1 to 3.
Players take turns rolling the dice and continue their way into the dark depths of the sea. Where their path stops, they can choose to dig up a treasure and take it along.
As long as you are not carrying any treasures, your turn consists only of the movement above. If you do carry treasures, a few things happen before you roll your dice:
For each treasure you reduce the amount of oxygen left in the submarine.
You choose whether to go deeper or head back up. This is very important, because you may only change direction once.
For each treasure you are carrying you must subtract 1 pip from the number of pips you rolled, so it becomes harder to get back up in time.
When you take a treasure, you place it in front of you without looking at how many points it is worth, and you put a marker in its place.
If you later land on such a marker, placed by anyone, you may put a treasure back there. For example, to try and get back up faster, since you then have one treasure less.
