Pick one of the four characters, known as "The Beheaded". Each new game starts with little explanation of what is going on, but that only makes the adventure more thrilling. Your task? Survive, grow stronger and get further than last time.
Choose your path through an ever-changing castle full of dangers. Will you upgrade your skills with a scroll, or open a chest for a new weapon? Sometimes you find hidden runes that give access to new areas. But watch out: this island is full of horrors that never give you a moment's rest.
Every enemy you meet tests your strategy and skills. Choose action cards carefully to plan a fight from start to finish. Every victory earns you new equipment, gold and valuable cells. But the stronger you get, the bigger the challenge becomes.
In these dungeons, dying is almost unavoidable. Whether it is a deadly trap or an enemy that is too strong, sooner or later your character will not survive. But rest assured, even in death you do not lose everything: your precious cells stay yours.
With the cells you have collected you can buy permanent improvements from The Collector. Choose cards from different categories such as Brutality, Survival or Tactics to become stronger. Unlock new items, improve your skills and expand your options for the next round.
Death is not an end, but a new beginning. Every run brings you back stronger and smarter. With new mutations and upgrades you can get further than ever before. Explore new areas, take revenge on your earlier enemies and keep growing in power.
