Comanchería: The Rise and Fall of the Comanche Empire is the second game in Joel Toppen's "First Nations" series. Just like its predecessor Navajo Wars, you play on your own, and you see everything through the eyes of the original inhabitants. This time you lead the Comanche people. You have a big task. You must drive hostile tribes off the southern plains, build up your position in the region and set up trade routes with friendly tribes and the settlers. And then comes the hardest part: defending all of it against attacks that just keep coming. Expect tough choices and tension that keeps you on your toes. If you know Navajo Wars, you will recognise part of the rules right away. Even so, Comanchería plays differently. The game moves along more smoothly and your goals for winning are clearer. A solid adventure for anyone who enjoys a long afternoon alone at the table and wants to lose themselves completely in a story.
