Circus Flohcati

In Circus Flohcati, everything revolves around a little flea circus full of colourful acts. You collect cards with performances and try to score as many points as possible. There are ten kinds of acts, each in its own colour, and the values run from 0 to 7 points. Easy to learn, but every turn asks you to make a choice. On your turn, you take one of the face-up cards on the table or you turn over the top card of the deck. If you turn over an action card, you have to carry it out right away, for example stealing a card from your neighbour, and then your turn ends. If you turn over a colour that is already face up on the table, the new card is discarded and you get nothing. Otherwise you can simply carry on: take another card or try again. Do you have three cards with the same value in your hand? Then you play them as a trio for a fixed ten points. The game ends as soon as someone holds all ten acts or the deck runs out. You only score for the highest card of each colour, so you are better off getting rid of duplicate colours with a trio. Managed to collect all ten acts? Then you earn a bonus of ten points for your big gala show. In about fifteen minutes you share a cheerful game full of tension and small choices, perfect for a quick round with the whole family.
