You use coins to recruit residents from two parts of the city, the humble lower town and the posh upper town, to form a tableau of 3x3 cards. Every character you add brings immediate effects and new combinations to life, so every move counts.
During the game it is all about balance. How do you spend your gold best? When do you use your keys to influence the Messenger and get access to the right characters? And how do you place them in your tableau to make the most of their powers? The right choices not only earn you points, they also give you that wonderful feeling of a strategy that clicks perfectly.
After nine rounds, when everyone has completed their tableau, the player whose kingdom has gained the most prestige wins. Compact, tactical and surprisingly addictive: Castle Combo is the kind of game you want to play again straight after one round.
