The kingdom is coming together again, but the work is far from done. Bandits threaten the villages, rivers open up new routes and trade is booming. As a player of Cascadito you set out with pencil and paper to shape your own part of this realm. Every choice counts, and every good move can start a chain of events. The game uses dice and your own score sheets. Six dice are rolled and, in turn order, you pick one of them to colour in a space on your map. The colours match the five kinds of villages on your map. Connect your areas in the right way and you set off a chain of successes. Think ahead and the bonuses will roll your way all by themselves. But watch out: everyone draws from the same dice, so keep an eye on what your opponents are planning. Cascadito is the little brother of the big Cascadero by Reiner Knizia, but it loses none of the bite. There are four very different score sheets, each with its own map, its own goals and its own way of playing. The game fits in a small box and plays nice and quickly, so you can easily take it along on a trip or squeeze in a game. And would you like to play on your own? Every sheet has a solo mode, with a normal and a tougher setting.
