Cartographers: A Roll Playing Story - Card Game

Queen Gimnax has an important mission for you: conquer and map the northern territory for the Kingdom of Nalos. But beware, the Dragul are lurking and trying to thwart your mission with their lookouts. It is up to you to draw cleverly, claim the right territories and ultimately be declared the best cartographer of the kingdom.

About the game

Cartographers is an award-winning fantasy card game in which players compete to earn the most reputation stars before the four seasons are up. In this game, you simultaneously draw shapes on a grid map with other players and fill them with forests, farms, villages and water features.

But beware: monsters placed on your map by other players can throw a spanner in the works. By planning smartly, surrounding mountains to earn coins and resisting surprise attacks, you score points after each season. After four seasons, the player with the highest reputation wins.

With room for 1 to as many as 100 players, Cartographers is perfect for any group. Each play session is different thanks to changing scoring patterns, providing endless strategies and replayability.

The game proceeds in three simple steps:

1. Draw shapes:
Each turn you draw a card that determines the type of terrain and shape you draw on your card.

2. Fill your map:
Surround mountains to collect coins and be prepared for unexpected monster attacks that other players place on your map.

3. Score Points:
At the end of each season, you score points based on four randomly selected scoring patterns. Each round requires a new strategy to stay on top.
