Buurn

The Las Picantes district is ruled by El Gobernador, a former businessman with a past nobody knows much about. He is bored out of his mind, so he comes up with something special: during the Fiesta Nacional he challenges chefs from all over the world to make the hottest sauce in the world. The winner gets enough money to open their own restaurant. In Buurn you step into the shoes of one of these driven chefs. To cook the perfect sauce, you need the best ingredients. You get them in ruthless auctions. Everyone does whatever it takes to grab the sharpest chili peppers and the secret spices. Making friends with the organisers? Fine. Snatching an ingredient away from your neighbour? That works too. In this contest anything goes, and that is exactly what leads to lots of laughter and surprising twists at the table. At the end, El Gobernador's jury tastes all the sauces and hands out points for the ingredients and the bonuses you collected. Whoever has the most points wins the contest and their own restaurant. Buurn is a spicy auction game for 3 to 5 players aged 8 and up, and after about 40 minutes you will know who the real master chef is.
