Behext

The more powerful the magic, the greater the danger. In Behext you are a Battlemage who can only rely on your own cards. The cards in your hand are your defence and at the same time your only way to buy new spells. So you have to make sacrifices. Sometimes you give up a card, sometimes even a piece of your willpower, to build your magical arsenal exactly the way you want it. You start with one of the six special Battlemages, each with their own kind of magic. From there you decide how your deck grows. Do you want to force opponents to discard cards? Do you want to block their magic, or do you go straight for their willpower? Or do you dare to play the wildest and most dangerous spells to score points, with all the risks that brings? This is a deckbuilder in which you are constantly interacting with each other. Curses fly across the table and you bounce them back for as long as you can. And there is another nice touch: new spells you summon do not go to your discard pile, but straight into your hand. So you don't have to wait for them to come back around. You play them right away, exactly when you need them most. Behext is an adventure full of strategy, tension and plenty of direct conflict.
