Aqua

Below the surface of the water lies a network of pipes, waiting. In Aqua you place pieces with one or two pipes to connect your side of the board to the pipes in the middle. That sounds simple, but the way there is full of choices. Which piece do you place where? And how do you make your route work without getting in someone else's way? The fun thing about Aqua is that you often need the same pieces as your fellow players. So you keep an eye on what the others are doing and adjust your plan. That creates a friendly game of thinking along and moving along, where everyone at the table stays involved. You all want to get through, but space is limited. With games of about half an hour, Aqua is set up and cleared away in no time. Prefer to play alone? That works too, because there is a solo variant. A nice choice for players aged 8 and up who like puzzling with a touch of teamwork.
