Age of Wonders: Planetfall

The golden age of the Star Union is over. A series of explosions tore space apart and caused the great Collapse. Countless planets were cut off from the rest of the empire. Now that calm is slowly returning, the surviving groups are rebuilding their civilisation and searching for lost technology. They once belonged to one mighty empire. Now they must meet each other again and find out who may inherit that power. In Age of Wonders: Planetfall you take on the role of Commander of one of the six remaining groups. You lead an expedition across seven planets, looking for valuable resources and ancient knowledge. Along the way you fight hostile units and take control of special locations. The question is always the same: can you build a new world from the shards of the old empire? The game lasts seven rounds, and each round you explore a new planet together. You earn points by defeating units, studying technology, claiming locations and completing missions. At the end, your secret goals count as well. Whoever collects the most points wins. An adventure for 2 to 6 players that plays out differently every time.
