Deep underground lies Gravehold, the last safe place for humanity. In Aeons End The Descent you dive together into the origins of this refuge. You play mages who fight side by side against dark enemies rising from the depths. One thing stands out: you never shuffle your deck. The cards stay in the order you play them, so every turn calls for thinking ahead and working well together. This game stands completely on its own. You do not need any other part to start. You discover new mages and dangerous opponents, and there is a brand new component included called Friends & Foes. Even so, everything fits effortlessly with the rest of the Aeons End world, so anyone who is already a fan can simply keep building. With one to four players and games of about an hour, this is a game to sink into together. The story plays out a little differently every time, which makes you want to descend again and again.
