Abalone New Version

This edition is in French and Dutch. Two players, one board full of marbles and the tension slowly building. In Abalone New Version you and your opponent face each other on a hexagonal playing field. You have the white marbles, your opponent the black ones, or the other way around. Who is the first to push six of the other's marbles over the edge? It sounds simple, but it is not. You push your marbles forward, try to shove the other player away and keep your own rows together at the same time. One wrong move and suddenly you are on the defensive. Attacking feels good, but go too far and you give away space. Look, think and only then push: that is the game. A round takes about twenty minutes, just enough for a short battle or a series of rematches. You can explain the rules in a few minutes, so you will be facing each other in no time. Great at home at the table, with your child, your partner or a good friend who wants to win just as much as you do.
