1902 Méliès

Will you help write film history? In 1902 Méliès you step into the film world of Georges Méliès, the wizard of the silver screen. That same year he made 'A Trip to the Moon', the very first science fiction film ever. You and your fellow players take on the role of his assistants and help bring those enchanting images to life. In the famous studio in Montreuil you place your pawns to choose what you will do. One time you collect new scenes, another time you fetch materials for special effects or dress the actors. After that you film the scenes, splice them together and colour the frames by hand. Little by little, a beautiful film grows under your hands. Every scene you shoot and every coloured frame earns you points. Whoever has the most points at the end may call themselves the best assistant to Méliès. A game for 2 to 4 players aged 12 and up, with an evening together at the table of about an hour. Perfect for anyone who loves atmosphere, making choices and a story you build together.
